Dose information & storage instructions
A 70ml shot of Symprove should be taken every morning on an empty stomach. Patients should be advised to wait 10 minutes before eating or drinking anything (other than water) to ensure Symprove has passed through the stomach.
Bottles should be kept in a cool, dark place until they’re opened. Once opened, bottles should be stored in the fridge and consumed within 14 days.
The product should not be heated or frozen as it will compromise the viability of the bacteria.
Symprove is a registered food supplement and is not contraindicated for any medications or supplements.
Symprove is classed as a food supplement, not a medication. All our clinical trials have been based around the effects of a daily 70ml shot a day and therefore this is the recommended dose.
Symprove is formulated for adults, with parental choice applying regarding use with children. It is not suitable for use with very young children (under 3 years of age). For children aged 3 and older, we suggest titrating the dose to 1ml per 1kg of their body weight.
Symprove has a shelf life of 15 months from point of manufacture. This is based on robust testing which has confirmed the viability of the bacteria after this time period. Users should check the date of expiry on their individual pack.
